Summer Dance Camp: Week One Update

Myriad’s summer Dance Camp had their end of week camp performance Friday in front of families on our outdoor stage. Everyone’s performances were outstanding!

This week’s theme was Enchanted Forest and the students danced to Enchanted Suite, Evermore, and Raya & the Last Dragon. They worked on jazz, ballet and hip hop techniques throughout the week as well as choreography, creative movement and self expression. The performance was a complete success!

You know that feeling when you plan something out, and everything goes even better than you thought it could? That’s how we’re feeling after last week’s summer Dance Camp performance. All of us are SO proud of all of our young dancers. And we want to extend a big thank you to our leaders-in-training who did such a great job supporting campers and staff this week!

We can’t wait to see the performances of our On Broadway Children’s camp and Rock Band Camp at the end of this week. And hey, there’s still a few spaces open for some of our Dance Camps in July!
