Ages 3-5
TWINKLE STAR DANCE
Twinkle Star Dance Classes for children ages 3-5 in ballet, tap, jazz, hippity-hop & creative movement. Our Twinkle Stars classes for ages 3-5 are the perfect balance of structure and fun. New monthly themes refreshes the engagement and focus of our little ones.
The purpose of the class is to introduce young dancers to the building blocks of dance styles, inspiring movement and creativity within a positive environment.
Central to our program is the “Twinkle Bear,” a dedicated dance companion used in choreography to build confidence, provide comforting rituals and imagination focusing on creativity, foundational technique, coordination development, fun, exciting choreography, and lots of fun with new friends. Breaking News! In 2026, the award-winning Twinkle Star Dance is partnering with Stanford University’s Mind, Experiences and Learning Lab, researching the effects of this specific curriculum on early childhood learning, collecting data on the effect of movement on executive function, emotional regulation, and resilience in young children. Grades 1-3
AMETHYST
Dance classes for children in Grades 1-3, focusing on creativity, foundational technique, coordination development, fun, exciting choreograhy, and lots of fun with new friends. Small class sizes always at Myriad.
Ballet fosters strength, technique, musicality, body awareness and movement potential in a format that encourages grace and individual artistry. Tap is an exciting rhythmic exercise and dance form which is enjoyable to both kids and adults.The classes stress the basics of tap and allows dancers to build into combinations which are great to watch and delightful to hear.
Jazz combines many styles and techniques from ethnic and contemporary dance, to ballet. Rhythm, upon which all dance forms depend, is particularly integral to jazz dance. The first half of class consists of exercises which stretch and tone muscles and develop support for proper stress-free alignment of the skeletal structure. Using jazz, soul, R&B, ethnic and pop music, jazz classes are energetic, and fun way to release tension while attaining a body awareness.
Hip Hop provides a structured method of learning various Hip Hop dance movements in a fun-filled and vibrant class environment. Hip Hop classes utilize upbeat music from various genres, in addition to the latest child-appropriate Hip Hop hits. The resulting outcome is an energetic class that not only teaches you Hip Hop movements and technique, but also instills rhythm and precision in your muscle memory.

Grades 3-5
EMERALD
Whether your child is leveling- up or is new dance, these Dance Classes for Grades 3-5 provide a supportive environment to build poise, physical strength and lasting friendship. At this grade level, students begin to understand the distinct “vocabulary” of different dance genres. Here is how each style benefits your child’s growth.
Ballet: Often called the “foundation of dance,” ballet is essential for developing posture, balance, and core strength. For 3rd-5th graders, it instills a sense of discipline and grace that carries over into every other dance style.
Jazz: This high-energy style focuses on rhythm and coordination. Jazz teaches students how to isolate different parts of their body and execute sharp, precise movements, which is excellent for improving athletic agility and musicality.
Hip Hop & K-Pop: Perfect for self-expression, Hip Hop builds cardiovascular endurance and confidence. It encourages students to find their own “groove” while learning complex footwork and contemporary choreography to music that grabs the attention of dancers this age.

Grades 5-8
AQUA
Our Dance Classes for Grades 5-8 are specifically engineered for the middle school transition, providing a sophisticated environment where technical mastery meets creative independence. In these classes, pre-teens and young teens move beyond basic steps to explore advanced artistry, athletic conditioning, and the nuances of performance. Whether they are pursuing a serious path or looking for a high-energy outlet, Myriad’s Dance Classes offer a professional atmosphere where students can refine their skills and find their unique voice as dancers.
Ballet: The focus grace, strength, more precision and anatomical alignment. Ballet at this stage refines the “turn-out,” builds significant lower-body power, and dancing more complex combinations and developing stage poise.
Jazz & Broadway Theater Dance Styles: Dancers elevate technique with these styles, blending explosive power with Broadway-style storytelling. This curriculum challenges dancers to execute precise body isolations and intricate choreography, significantly enhancing coordination and rhythmic timing. Our Teen Dance Classes offers a collaborative environment where technical mastery meets creative independence, specifically tailored for the unique dynamics of the middle and high school years. We welcome both ambitious beginners looking to start their journey and experienced dancers seeking to refine advanced artistry, athletic conditioning, and performance nuances. .
Ballet: The focus grace, strength, more precision and anatomical alignment. Ballet at this stage refines the “turn-out,” builds significant lower-body power, and dancing more complex combinations and developing stage poise.
Contemporary: This dance class blends the technical precision of ballet with the expressive freedom of modern movement, encouraging dancers to push beyond traditional boundaries.
