We started as a small family-owned Performing Arts School in 1997

Over the years, we have grown to be a dynamic comprehensive one-location Music, Dance & Art School, serving all ages on the Peninsula. There are 8 Departments at our school managed by Owners and Directors who inspire and unify our teaching artists. Furthermore we specialize in quality curriculum and continuous program enhancements. Accordingly our university-trained teachers are exceptional, with a high level of pedagogy and arts education, with credentials and experience. In turn, we take exceptional care of our teachers.

We are parents too

We have two children, a Data Science graduate from UC Berkeley (in the Cal Marching Band & Berkeley Wind Ensemble too!) and a younger child graduated from high school and attending Cal Poly Humbolt to be a teacher. Our children grew up in Myriad’s music, dance and art programs. As parents, we realize families can choose between several schools. All performing arts schools are not the same. 30 minute lesson / week: $315 pro-rated monthly tuition
45 minute lesson / week: $473 pro-rated monthly tuition
60 minute lesson / week:  $630 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual Year-Round Membership Fee: $75
Includes: School binders, weekly homework assignment sheets, administrative assistance, access to online make-up scheduling and more. Music / theory workbooks are an additional fee and will be charged to your account as new books are assigned.

Piano Teams, Guitar Teams & Violin Teams

Pro-rated Tuition: 55 minute class / week: $315 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual Year-Round Membership Fee: $75
Includes: School binders, weekly homework assignment sheets, administrative assistance, access to online make-up scheduling and more. Music / theory workbooks are an additional fee and will be charged to your account as new books are assigned.

Preschool Music

Pro-rated Tuition: $156-170, depending on weekday, pro-rated monthly tuition (Music Booklets, materials and music included)
Annual 10- month Membership Fee: $50, which covers both Music & Dance membership fees, if a student is enrolled in both curriculum

Mini Piano Plus

Pro-rated Tuition: $181 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual Membership Fee: $70
Includes: All songbooks, homework cards, glockenspiel, tote bag, learning props, & materials. Students receive 1 quality ukulele, which will be billed separately (current market value for quality ukulele)

Superstar Classes

Pro-rated Tuition: $192 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual 10- month Membership Fee: $70
Includes: All music books, workbooks, homework assignments & materials. Students receive 1 quality ukulele, which will be billed separately (current market value for quality ukulele)

Kids’ Ukulele Band

Pro-rated Tuition: $192 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual 10- month Membership Fee: $50
Includes: Music folders & materials. Also as new books are assigned they will be charged to your account.

 

Rock.Pop Band Project

Pro-rated Tuition: $155 pro-rated monthly tuition
Annual 10- month Membership Fee: NA, as student must already be enrolled in Private Lessons to be eligible for this band.
Includes: Music folders, music & materials, and off-site community gig.

ART FUNdamentals

Junior Art, Ages 4-5: $140 / 45 min class, pro-rated monthly tuition

Art Class, Grades 1-3: $155 / 60 min class, pro-rated monthly tuition

Art Class, Grades 3-5: $155 / 60 min class, pro-rated monthly tuition

Master Artist, Grades 5-8:
$185 / 70 min class, pro-rated monthly tuition

Art Supplies Fees: $50 upon registration / $50 again mid-year. We supply it all – no shopping for you. This great deal includes  Art Portfolio Backpack and all art materials for the whole 10 – month School Year.
Includes: Art Portfolio Backpack, Art Smock, all art materials, & Art Show participation.

How does prorated tuition work?

Tuition is pro-rated, received monthly (on, or the nearest weekday following, the 24th of every month) and is prorated equally throughout the school year, August – June.

Prorated means to divide an amount proportionally, based on a unit of time. Specifically, tuition is based on the number of hours your student is in class per week. Please refer to our current School Year calendar, for start dates per program.

• Tuition calculations are based on the # weeks of classes in our Myriad calendar. Holidays and school closure days are not included in tuition fees.
• Tuition is based upon the following calculations:
  • Private Lessons & Teams (12 month, year-round, year-to-year ongoing enrollment):  # of weeks x # of class hours / 12 payments
  • Music Classes, Dance Classes, Art Classes: (10 month enrollment): # of weeks x # of class hours / 10 payments
• If you join mid-month, the 1st month’s tuition is adjusted.
• Tuition is always pro-rated. We do not bill different amounts every month. We keep it simple and straight-forward, just like monthly fees at a fitness center or yoga studio.
