Neuroscientists’ research reinforces music’s positive benefits on the developing brain

A study from USC is researching the impact of music on children’s brains. Assal Habibi’s study explores how musical training boosts childhood brain development. So far, her study shows that music helps to support many brain functions including memory, executive function, focus, language and communication. ““[Music training] does have benefits across the board, and we see changes in their brain structure and function that are different from children who do not have any training,”
