I was 5 years old!
What do you Love about Teaching?
I love sharing my passion through storytelling through sound. Music is a gift that shows us the deepest parts of ourselves and is available to everyone. It’s also a creative act, and I love sparking creative joy in others!

Your Unique Approach to Teaching
In lessons, there is a healthy and constructive learning environment wherein students can feel confident to reach their potential. Lessons focus on helping the student develop and integrate these skills towards better musicianship, focusing on classical, theatrical, and pop styles. Music is for life!
What are your hobbies & Interests?
I’m also an aerialist, theater maker, and love the outdoors. I’m an avid bird watcher and love making soap for my friends.
Anything else to share?
I direct, performs and composes music for my production company Theatre Uzume. My theatrical work has been nominated for numerous awards and even earned a New York Times’ Critic’s Pick. I recently performed with Theatre Uzume at Electric Forest Music Festival in Rothbury, MI this summer.
