How old were you when you began learning to play your instrument?
9 years old, at the guitar.

What do you Love about Teaching?
A few of the many things I love about teaching are learning about new musicians and genres from my students, watching their enthusiasm about music grow, and finding ways to tie my students’ unique interests into their musical training (ie. Filming a stop motion movie and recording a musical score to it).

City University of New York with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Performance, Guitar

Your Unique Approach to Teaching
I love sharing my enthusiasm for music with my students. Humor, enthusiasm, humility, and having fun are four key ingredients to my teaching philosophy. I love to find unique and funny ways to help musical concepts stick. I try to make learning music as enjoyable and fun as possible so that my students will be inspired to continue their musical growth for the rest of their lives.

What do you enjoy about teaching at Myriad?
I love the environment at Myriad. It is so positive and up lifting. I feel very blessed to be a part of the teaching staff.

What are your hobbies & Interests?
I love going to see stand up comedy and watching movies on my projector friends.
