How old were you when you began learning to play your instrument?
I started the violin at the age of 3 and piano at the age of 4.

What do you Love about Teaching?
I love watching students absorb new information like a sponge. It is amazing to see how quickly they learn and how much they can progress in such a short time.

Where did your receive your Degrees in Music / Dance Education
I received my bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying piano with Ian Hobson and Timothy Ehlen. I also minored in harp performance.

Your Unique Approach to Teaching
I look at the whole person; their personality, their learning style, their idiosyncrasies. We do not all learn the same way so I teach each student slightly differently.
