Stretching Tips for Dancers
Stretching can be one of the most essential tools that we have in dance. Without properly stretching, dancers can get injured easily and harm their technique. Here are some stretching tips for dancers or for anyone who wants to reap the many benefits of stretching!
- Always warm up your body before you stretch! Stretching when cold can pull muscles.
- Hold each stretch for at least 10 seconds. You won’t benefit from holding a stretch for any less time.
